Agreement
By accessing the CGTLE Foundation board portal (cgtle-automation.cgtlea.workers.dev) or receiving SMS notifications from the CGTLE Foundation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and contact support@cgtlea.org to be removed.
Eligibility
The board portal is restricted to authorized board members of the Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Foundation (CGTLE Foundation), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 45-5219729). Access is granted by the Foundation administrator and authenticated via Google OAuth.
Permitted Use
The portal is provided for the following purposes:
Reviewing and voting on Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF) requests
Creating and managing EAF records
Recording payment and disbursement information
Communicating with other board members about EAF cases
You agree not to use the portal for any purpose unrelated to CGTLE Foundation board activities, and not to share access credentials or portal content with unauthorized individuals.
Confidentiality
EAF requests contain sensitive personal and financial information about Coast Guard families in crisis. You agree to treat all information accessed through the portal as confidential and to use it solely for the purpose of evaluating and processing assistance requests.
SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions
By enrolling in CGTLE Foundation text notifications through the SMS enrollment page at [www.cgtle.org/sms-notifications](https://www.cgtle.org/sms-notifications), you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from CGTLE Foundation (Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Foundation) regarding Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF) requests, scholarship decisions, and organizational updates.
- **Message types:** New EAF request alerts, board vote reminders, EAF approval and disbursement notifications, scholarship application updates, and organizational notifications
- **Message frequency:** Varies based on organizational activity, typically 2–8 messages per month
- **Message and data rates may apply** depending on your mobile carrier and plan
- **To opt out:** Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
- **For help:** Reply HELP to any message or email support@cgtlea.org
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, membership benefit, or board service. Opting out of SMS does not affect your access to the board portal. You may continue to use the portal without receiving text notifications.
Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
CGTLE Foundation reserves the right to modify these SMS terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via text or email.
Accuracy of Information
Board members who submit or edit EAF records are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. The Foundation relies on the accuracy of submitted data to make disbursement decisions.
Availability
The portal is provided on an “as is” basis. The CGTLE Foundation does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the portal at any time without notice.
Limitation of Liability
The CGTLE Foundation, its board members, and its volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the portal or SMS notifications.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
