SMS/Text Messaging Privacy
CGTLE Foundation collects mobile phone numbers from authorized board members and designated staff for the sole purpose of sending text message notifications about Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF) requests, scholarship decisions, and organizational updates.
Board members and staff enroll in SMS notifications by submitting their mobile phone number through the SMS enrollment page at [www.cgtle.org/sms-notifications](https://www.cgtle.org/sms-notifications). An explicit consent checkbox must be checked before enrollment is submitted.
Upon enrollment, subscribers receive a confirmation message: "CGTLE Foundation: You are now subscribed to board notifications about EAF requests, scholarships, and org updates. Msg freq varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."
Message frequency varies based on organizational activity, typically 2–8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
To opt out of SMS notifications at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation: "CGTLE Foundation: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. Reply START to re-subscribe."
For help, reply HELP to any message or contact support@cgtlea.org.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, membership benefit, or board service. Opting out of SMS does not affect access to the board portal.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share mobile contact information with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering text messages on our behalf.
