RICHARD MOZELESKI, FOUNDER & CHAIR OF BOARD

Rich served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2005-2012. Following graduation from Officer Candidate School, he served as an Officer in Charge at Tactical Law Enforcement Team South, completing the TACLET South Green Team program, Unannounced Nighttime Boarding certification program, MLEA BO school, and TTC by early 2006. Rich then transferred to the Maritime Security Response Team, completed the unit’s Green Team and selection process, Advanced Interdiction Training and qualified as a Direct Action Section Assault Force Commander. Rich served as the Assistant Operations Officer before transferring in 2011. His final year in the service was spent as the Counter Drug officer at District Seven. After separating from the service, Rich worked for Deloitte Consulting in the Strategy & Operations practice. He is currently the Head of Operations for Uber in South Florida. Rich earned a MBA in Strategy & Financial Analysis from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in International Business, Finance & Spanish from Northeastern University.

AARON ROTH, BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Aaron is an active duty Captain in the U.S. Coast Guard and serves as Chief, Deputy Commandant for Operations Office of Performance Management and Assessment at Coast Guard Headquarters. Previously, Captain Roth was the U.S. Coast Guard military fellow in the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) International Security Program for 2011 to 2012. He reported to CSIS from his previous assignment as Operations officer of the Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT), the Coast Guard’s high-risk law enforcement and counterterrorism unit, in Chesapeake, VA. Prior to that assignment, Captain Roth was instrumental in the formation of the U.S. Deployable Operations Group (DOG) in 2007. Following its establishment, he served as executive assistant to the DOG commander, who oversaw over 3,000 personnel at 24 different commands within the Coast Guard’s Deployable Specialized Forces community. Captain Roth graduated in 1993 from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and has held several other operational and staff positions during his 19-year career, including positions as commanding officer of a patrol boat in Key West, FL, heavily focused on drug and migrant interdiction operations. In over a decade of operational assignments, he has conducted missions in drug interdiction, alien migrant interdiction, search and rescue, homeland security, defense operations, and port security. He has also held a staff assignment at the Coast Guard’s Budget and Program Review Office during the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security. In addition to his Bachelors degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Commander Roth holds a M.P.A. from George Mason University. He is a designated Coast Guard cutterman and has received numerous personal, unit, campaign, and service military awards during his career, including five Meritorious Service Medals.
